Begin using Bioclear in a conservative manner. Replace any glycolic acid based products with Biolclear. Start with only once per day application and gradually increase application to night if desired. Bioclear is applied after C-Esta or immediately after cleansing if C-Esta is not included in regimen. Mild stinging and, temporary redness and slight flaking is normal with initial use of this product.

Single-blind RCT (n=46, 12 weeks) in mild-to-moderate acne comparing salicylic acid 3% plus clindamycin with tretinoin 0.05% plus clindamycin: both significantly reduced inflammatory and non-inflammatory lesion counts; tretinoin acted faster (significant by week 2) but groups were comparable at 12 weeks, and both were well tolerated.
